SOIREÉ CABERNET -
VINTNER-HOSTED RECEPTION & DINNER
Includes Open House tickets

$285 per person

6:30 PM - 10:00 PM · Limited Seating · Napa Valley Chic
At Clos du Val

The French have the best word to describe our gala dinner -- SOIREE! In keeping, Clos Du Val is a fitting location as it was founded by French-born vintner and Napa Valley icon Bernard Portet and the Goelet family. It was in 1972, while scouting for land to plant a vineyard in Napa, that Bernard drove through what is now Stags Leap District and noted that the area was distinct with cooler evenings -- an important factor to the Bordeaux native for determining a superior cabernet site. The evening party is located at this very spot.

First, join the District's vintners and winemakers for an exclusive reception and preview tasting of the 2006 Appellation Collection in the Barrel Room. After the sun sets on the Palisades, the evening moves into the tent for dinner as our vintners and winemakers host your table, bringing rare wines from their cellars.

SEMINAR - LOOKING BACK, LEAPING EVER FORWARD

$60 per person

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM · Limited Seating · Casual Attire
At Silverado Vineyards

Join wine writer and and celebrated televsion host Leslie Sbracco for a rare interview and tasting with three of the Napa Valley's most esteemed master winemakers: Elizabeth Vianna of Chimney Rock Winery, Jon Emmerich of Silverado Vineyards and Elias Fernandez of Shafer Vineyards. You'll taste six Stags Leap District cabernets from the critically-acclaimed 1999 and 2005 vintages with the winemakers who made them!

Leslie and the winemakers will taste guests through our terroir, the rich textures, velvety tannins and subtle nuances that are the hallmarks of the appellation's wines from decade to decade. This intimate and interactive opportunity is for aficionados and novices alike to enjoy one-on-one time with industry leaders and share expert opinions and observations about winemaking in the new century.
