The Stags Leap District Winegrowers is proud to release its Appellation Collection, comprised of 18 outstanding 2007 Cabernet Sauvignons from its member wineries. The 2007 vintage was a beautiful one that served up the delicious hallmarks of Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignons in spades — a sweet, juicy core of fruit with ripe, velvety tannins. A perfect bud break led to a long summer of warm, dry days and chilly evenings, ideal conditions that allowed our winemakers to leave the fruit on the vine until it achieved true ripeness.
This limited release, the only one of its kind from an American Viticutural Area, offers enthusiasts a unique one-stop-shopping opportunity to taste the power and grace, lush fruit and soft tannins notorius in the appellation's critically acclaimed Cabernet Sauvignons. Designed to simply enjoy bottle-by-bottle or taste and compare in more complex tastings, this year's Appellation Collection includes the following Stags Leap District designated Cabernet Sauvignons:
